Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has given the clearest indication he could venture into coaching when he finally hangs up his boots.

The Black Stars captain is at the twilight of his career as he turns 30 on Sunday.

Gyan, who plays for Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG, is currently in his native country on holidays.

The former Al Ain and Sunderland hitman has endured frustrating injury spells in recent years amid growing fears age is taking a toll on his health.

The iconic global brand has hinted he could venture into coaching if he retires from the sport.

After football I will get into business or maybe I can even go back to be a coach. I will start some coaching course, he told Starr FM.

The Ghana international is a well-established man as he owns several businesses spread across Ghana, Europe and Asia.

He is expected to lead the countrys charge to the 2018 World Cup after the team secured qualification to the group stage qualifiers.
