Angola is open to establishing international partnerships to provide competitive and better tourism products to attract more tourists from around the world, a ranking official said here Tuesday.

Angolan State Minister for Economic and Social Development Manuel Nunes Junior also spoke of simplifying visa procedures for international visitors.

Addressing the opening ceremony of a meeting of the Hotels and Tourism Multisectoral Commission, the state minister said it is necessary to map, register and organize tourism resources throughout the country.

He said the state must create the institutional, macroeconomic and security conditions for the tourism industry to flourish.

The Hotels and Tourism Multisectoral Commission is an advisory and supporting body to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. Its members come from ministries related to tourism. Enditem
