Ghana winger Andre Ayew insists the Black Stars will further suppress Egypt in the 2014 World Cup qualifying play-off.

A magnificent Ghana side blew away the seven-time AFCON champions thrashing them 6-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Tuesday?s encounter.

Captain Asamoah Gyan scored a brace to take his international goal tally to 39 while Russia-based Abdul Majeed Waris, Sulley Muntari and Christian Atsu all scored to added to a Wael Gomaa own-goal.

The 2010 quarter-finalist are considered huge favourites to reach Rio next summer after Tuesday?s emphatic victory but winger Andre Ayew who played a starring role in the Ghana victory insists the Black Stars are not yet done with the North Africans.

?We thank the fans for their support as they were here in their numbers to support us. It?s great win for us but the tie is not done yet. There is the second leg to play and we must finish the business,? the Olympique Marseille man told reporters after the game.

The Black Stars are well-placed for their third straight appearance at the World Cup.
