Ahead of Ghanas 2018 World Cup second leg clash with Comoros, deputy Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has been named as Swansea City player for the month of October.

The highly rated attacking midfielder joined the Swans in the summer as a free agent following his contract expiration at Marseille.

Since his arrival at the EPL side, the 26 year old Ghanaian has been one of the best players in the Swansea City set up.

The former Marseille winger was voted the player of the month of August in the English Premier League and has topped the award with the current award.

Ayew before winning the top award beat off competition from team mates Jonjo Shelvey and Neil Taylor.

Andre Ayew is currently in the Black Stars camp preparing for Todays 2018 world cup second leg tie qualifier against Comoros at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
