The Governorship candidate of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) Mr Godwin Chukwunenye Ezeemo has said he is satisfied with the conduct and outcome of the Governorship election in Anambra State conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in areas already concluded but advised the Commission to computerize the election process to eliminate sharp practices and controversies.

He, however, expressed dissatisfaction for the late arrival of materials and disenfranchising some people in some areas.
According to Ezeemo: ?I am happy with what INEC did because to the best of my ability, INEC did their best even though I am advising them to computerize its voting process to minimize fraud and a situation where, after voting, they will start raising the form for people to see probably for gratification.?
Speaking to journalists at his country home in Umuchu, Aguata Local Government Area, Ezeemo said he was also in full support of supplementary election in areas declared inconclusive even as he called on co-contenders he alleged were threatening thunder and brimstone because they lost election to respect the will of the people, even, when, according to him, some voters were influenced with money to vote contrary to their wish.
The APGA candidate said the conduct of the election was a remarkable improvement on previous elections and noted that INEC demonstrated genuine commitment to deliver free and fair election.  He noted that people of the state have made their choice and enjoined those calling for cancellation of the entire exercise to respect the mandate of the electorate.
Condemning those sponsoring any form of  protest  against the election, Ezeemo said that it was not what Anambra needed at this point in time and called on the people of the state to shun external influence that are only interested in destabilizing the state.
