At least five people, including a police officer, were killed on Friday in two different firing incidents in Pakistan, local media reported. wpid-GUNMEN2.jpg
According to the reports, the first incident took place in the country’s southern port city of Karachi where some unknown gunmen killed three policemen including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Fateh Mohammad Sangi.
The incident took place when two unknown assailants riding on a motorcycle sprayed bullets with an automatic gun at the vehicle of the police party when they were patrolling in the city.
All three policemen got seriously injured and were shifted to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
Police investigative teams found 22 bullet casings from the crime scene.
Spokesperson of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Muhammad Khurasani, sent an email to media houses and claimed responsibility for the attack.
The slain police officer has recently conducted a number of operations against the terrorists and criminals in the city.
In another firing incident, a young man killed a girl with firing before committing suicide in model town area in Pakistani capital of Islamabad.
Reason behind the incident was not known yet. Enditem
