The former Attorney -General Martin Amidu has withdrawn his case against embattled businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
Mr Amidu who was granted an application to orally examine Mr Woyome over his GH¢51.2 judgement debt received from government has backtracked.
Explaining to Justice Anin Yeboah’s court, he said Nana Akufo’s government has promised to retrieve all monies owned the State, hence it was needless to pursue the case and wishes to withdraw the suit forthwith.
EIB’s Wilberforce Asare reported that Justice Anin Yeboah subsequently struck out the case as withdrawn.
Mr Amidu, popularly called ‘Citizen Vigilante’, was given the go-ahead to orally examine the businessman by the Supreme Court, presided over by Mr Justice Anin Yeboah on November 16, 2016.
