Ofosu Mickey going being taken through his medical

President of Amidaus Professionals Baba Gado says Ghanaian clubs are unable to foot the rising financial bills of holding medicals for players.

All clubs are to conduct thorough medical screening for all of its players before the start of the football season.

Some Premier League clubs have already began the process of checking the health status of their players with weeks to the start of the Ghanaian top flight.

But Amidaus chief Baba Gado has described the process as cumbersome and financially unsustainable with its associated rising cost.

?The medicals first and foremost is very expensive in a time the clubs are struggling for resources,? he told Happy FM.

?The medical can cost as much as GHS 20,000 while some of the clubs owe player salaries running into months.

?Then you are brought with a heap of documents to guide the medicals.

?It has become so cumbersome and  expensive that it is increasingly becoming an unattractive venture for the clubs.?
