Albert Commey is happy to see Medeama in FA Cup final

Medeama Chief Commey Hails Team?s Progression Into Fa Cup Final

Medeama chief Albert Commey has hailed his team?s progression into the Ghana MTN FA Cup final.

The Mauves and Yellows rallied from behind to beat Hearts 2-1 at the Baba Yara stadium to reach their first final.

The feat chalked by a club which is just marking its third season in the Ghanaian top-flight has thrilled many including the club?s Executive vice president.

?We are very happy to have achieved such a mark. It has been long coming and we?re delighted with where we have gotten so far,? Commey said

?The project we have embarked on is beginning to yield dividends. We are now in the final and hopefully we can end the season with a silverware.

?The FA Cup is very important to us. We need to finish the season with at least one title.?

Medeama will take on Asante Kotoko in the final on June 15 in Accra.
