Airtel Ghana has rewarded its high valued customers for their loyalty and dedication to the network over the pastcouple of years. This was done at a breakfast event with the Managing Director and other officials of Airtel Ghana which took place at the Labadi beach hotel on Friday 7th March 2013.

In his address, the managing director of Airtel Ghana Philip Sowah took the opportunity to thank customers immensely for their dedication stating that the breakfast event was a simple way of creating a personal environment where Airtel could engage with its valued customers and vice versa in a relaxed and serene environment.

Mr. Sowah said the major way by which Airtel can differentiate itself from competitors is through the experience it gives its customers. As such, Airtel has invested immensely in upgrading technology to enhance the customers experience especially in the area of data.

The Head of High Value Retail in the Customer Experience department Amanda Archer, added thatas part of Airtel Ghana?s plans of ensuring that its premier customers enjoy first class services, the company has crafted a new experience known as Airtel Premier.? Airtel Premier is a new brand within Airtel aimed at creating exclusivity for all its valued customers, by giving them an exceptional experience which seeks to build a stronger and deeper relationship.

She further stated that some of the special benefits being made available to premier customers included:? access to Airport VIP lounges worldwide as well as periodic ?pleasant surprises? like device offers and special offers on special occasions.

Henry Narh Nartey, Corporate Sales Manager also touched on the Airtel Business Service stating, ?Airtel Business is a segment within the Airtel brand which provides total communication solutions for Corporate and Small and Medium Enterprise businesses in the country and beyond. The solutions offered include Voice, Data, Fixed and Managed& Hosted services. These solutions are designed to assist businesses to focus on their core objectives and at the same time, enhance productivity through effective cost control measures.

Speaking on Airtel Money, Charles Seeninyin, Corporate Sales Manager for Airtel Money said, ?we recently upgraded our Airtel money platform to make it easier for our cherished customers to access it.He noted that the old Airtel Money service platform has been replaced with a new and more robust platform.? Instead of ?looking? for the AM menu on the phone, a customer can now dial *500# and the Menu will show up automatically.? Accessing the Airtel Money menu is now simpler, better, faster.

The breakfast event is only one of the many engagement initiatives carried out by the Customer Experience team with the aim of saying thank you to Airtel?s valued customers.
