The music festival will provide the African and Afro-Caribbean UK community with world class concerts and events

Africa Unplugged Music Festival 2012, the largest African Music Festival in Europe, will hold on August 27 at the Wembley Arena.

The one day event will feature 20 African acts from 15 nations and will be home to many talented and amazing artists this month.

Artistes performing include Femi Kuti; Tuface Idibia; Iyanya; Flavour; Fally Ipupa; Eddie Kadi; Sakordie; R2Bees; Mista Silva; Cabo Snoop; Zakes Bantwini; Zahara; Dj Edu; Madtraxx; Winky D, Dj Arafat from Cote d’Ivoire, Noeva from Zambia and Chameleone from Uganda.

The event will celebrate the rich diversity that exists within African culture through music, by showcasing the most popular african artistes.

Previous Africa Unplugged artistes include Rick Ross, D’banj, Joe, Naeto C, Nicki Minaj, P Square, WizKid, R Kelly, Ice Prince, Jamie Foxx, 9ice, Mario, Fantasia and TuFace.

Africa Unplugged is aimed at integrating and showcasing the African culture through music from all over Africa.
