South Africa’s coach Mashaba has blamed inexperience for their lose to Black Stars.

Black Stars came from one goal down to win the crunch Group C encounter against the Bafanabafana of South Africa in the ongoing Afcon.

According to coach Mashaba, his team was the good team of the day but when it came to consolidating their lead, his inexperienced players were shivering, giving Black Stars leverage to mount pressure which resulted in goals that gave Black Stars the lead.

He explained that a-hand-full of his players have played at this level so they lack experience as compared to Ghana’s team which has most of its players playing the Afcon for a number of times.

“My boys were the better side but inexperience cost us. When we scored and we were supposed to protect our goal, were shivering and that gave Ghana the platform to mount pressure on us.”

“My boys have played well but you will realise that all the goals scored against them, they had crowded the keeper and had blocked his clear view of the proceedings hence the goals scored against us,” he said

Black Stars came from a goal down to beat South Africa in their last Group C match.
