It is disturbing to see attendance to the stadium in the ongoing 2013 AFCON championship in South Africa very discouraging.

After a massive attendance in the opener between host South Africa and Cape Verde at the 90,000 capacity FNB soccer city in Johannesburg attendance to the rest of stadium have received low patronage from teeming supporters.

This does not send any good signal to millions of people all over the continents watching the tournament

I opined that the Confederation of Association football (CAF) must liaise with the local organizing committee of South Africa to at least get folks to the venue through free ticketing to pupils, children and others to fill the empty seats for the beauty of the game.
