She said the task ahead was very enormous, and that it would take the collective efforts of all to unite and work very hard to enable the party to achieve its aims.

Lawyer Adwoa Safo made the call after she had been declared winner of the Dome-Kwabenya Primaries held at Kwabenya in Accra on Saturday.

She polled 674 votes as against 249 by her contestant, Isaac Amofa, who declared the elections as free and fair.

Lawyer Adwoa Safo thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in her, and assured them that she would work hard to ensure peace and unity in the Constituency.

Mr Amofa pledged his support for Lawyer Adwoa Safo, and gave the assurance that he would throw his weight behind her to ensure that the seat was retained.
