THE newly confirm district Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoman District, Nana Kwabena Nkrumah has called on Ghanaians to adopt maintenance culture to protect our roads and all development projects.

The chief executive who made this known with a passionate call to assembly members and the people of the community to abreast his plans with a positive approach when he made them known during his first assembly sitting. Having proposed to make road network his prime objective, spelt out that all unmotorable roads will be put in shape of which he has a constructive approach to deal with the poor road network in the community. In doing all these, and having been aware that his administrative powers? do not permits him to construct roads due to insufficient finance, the new affirm DCE said , he will make sure Tipper tracks and other equipments that will be use purposely to tackle the road network are been bought by the assembly for road maintenance in the community.

Among his constructive plans, he will constitute labored department in the assembly of which the department will comprise of carpenters, mansions, engineers, electricians among other labor force which will be workers mainly for the assembly. According to him, not all projects in the assembly deserve to give to contractors therefore, all minor projects in the community like renovations and road maintenance will be solve by the laborers within the assembly in order to preserve money for the assembly and the community.

The DCE who also doubles as the chief linguist for the Asafohene?? averred that all these can be done when members of the assembly bought his ideas and he will dialogue with them about his visionary plans he purported for the community. Nana Kwabena Nkrumah grace his ambitions by calling on the chiefs and people of the area especially members of the assembly as well as his party members to join hands with him to build a strong community because, without their support and contributions, less will be done therefore, he will commit himself to be there for them and work for them to promote a socio-economic growth in the district.
