Albert Adomah loves Port Elizabeth

Winger Albert Adomah is confident the Black Stars will beat Niger to top their group and remain in the windy city of Port Elizabeth.

The West African giants are just a point above Mali in group B after recording a narrow 1-0 win over the Eagles on Thursday.

The Black Stars desperately needed to bag maximum points and underlined their credentials with a solitary strike from the penalty spot from rising star Mubarak Wakaso in the 38th minute.

The Ghanaians will play the Menas in their final group game on Monday and the Bristol City star is confident they can go the full haul to remain in the Eastern Cape Province (the home of African icon Nelson Mandela).

?We knew it would be difficult tonight because we had to win. We are very happy with the result,? Adomah said

?We were not afraid of losing. This was our chance to lead the group. We beat Mali and we succeeded.

?Now we must beat Niger to stay ahead of the group. That?s our goal and I hope we will be able to stay and Port Elizabeth.?

If the Black Stars top group B, they will engage the first runner up of Group A  comprising countries such as host South Africa, Angola, Morocco and Cape Verde.
