The Director of Elections for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah has denied assertions that he was not involved in the processes leading to the filing of the election petition before the Supreme Court.

A leading member of the NPP, Dr. Charles Wereko Brobbey on Thursday told Citi News, persons like Martin Adjie Mensah Korsah, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and O.B Amoah who worked closely with the Electoral Commission prior to the election were sidelined in the petition.

But speaking to Citi News, Mr. Mensah Korsah denied the assertion saying, ?I in my capacity as the Director of Elections was the one who stood before the national council, addressed and rooted the idea. It was accepted by the party to go to court. Subsequently, the team that worked to put together the over 24,000 pink sheets; Nana Akufo-Addo directly tasked me and coordinated across the country.?

According to him, he also worked under Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ?to do the analysis on it and all of that. As I speak to you, the National Affairs Committee of which I am a member; myself, O.B Amoah, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh are meeting at a location and the legal team to discuss and see our case forward.?

Mr. Mensah Korsah insisted that he has been ?a cardinal part of this process, likewise my other colleagues whose names have been mentioned and I don?t know where that is coming from.?
