According to the constituency executives, Phillip Addison failed to exhaust all internal redress proceedings before going to court. A committee chaired by second Vice-Chair Sammy Crabbe is yet to submit its report to the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party after being served with a petition.

According to Class FM report, Vice-chairman of the NPP’s Korle Klottey constituency, Alhaji Aliu Kadr said, “per the rules and regulations regarding this election that they are challenging, we have it there clearly that you cannot challenge the decision of the Appeals Committee outside what they have given. You have petitioned NEC, the NEC is dealing with the issue. On the blind side of everybody, you are in court again seeking to have the verdict to annul that election.”

Alhaji Aliu Kadr further said “We have to take it up for appropriate action and sanction him [with] a suspension, If you know you are doing the right thing, put everybody together and let’s face it. I’m still here and that is what will happen. As for the sanction we will spark it and see where it ends,” the constituency Vice-Chairman noted.

Meanwhile the case has been adjourned by the court to November 24, 2015.
