The AABLA recognise the Continent’s most pioneering business game-changers in a variety of categories that mirror the multifaceted nature of the African business landscape. The AABLA will be the first award dinner to be held at the KCC, which opened in July 2016 for the 27th AU Summit.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will once again be selected by the judging committee and announced on the night. The Industrialist of the Year category presented by the IDC along with the Philanthropist of the Year, will take on a similar format.

The AABLA, now in their sixth year, recognise Africa’s bold leaders of business in East, West and Southern Africa and once again are partnered by Bakgatla Ba Kgafela to bring Africa’s leading business award to the continent. The AABLA will move on to Johannesburg on September 29 before finishing the regional rounds in Lagos on October 20. The Grand Finale will crown an All Africa winner in Johannesburg on November 11 and promises to be the business event of the year.
