A Russian man has been arrested after he attempted to steal a road, but now faces up to two years in prison.

 

The guy – who is in his 40s but whose name has not been revealed – stole 82 concrete slabs, which are worth ?3,945, making up the pathway between the village of Parcheg in the Komi Republic and the Vychegda River in his home nation.

The man used an industrial manipulator to uproot the road and put it onto three trucks, which the police later stopped, the Moscow Times reports.

He was arrested and now faces up to two years in prison after admitting his guilt.
