The Management of Peace and Love Hospital in Kumasi is distributing seven tonnes of medications worth several millions of Ghana Cedis to 80 health facilities in the country.

Dr (Mrs) Beatrice Wiafe-Addai, Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi, during the distribution to some health facilities, that they were not for sale but to be used on patients who could not afford the cost of such medications.
She said the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the supply and distribution of the medications in 2009 and the collaboration had continued.
