19 will discharge petroleum products

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), on Tuesday, disclosed that seventy-nine ships carrying different cargoes are expected to arrive in Lagos ports between September 11 and September 29.

The NPA revealed this in its publication, Shipping Position.

The document also revealed that the ships would sail in with used and old vehicles, rice, fish, containers, general cargoes and petroleum products.

It was reported that 41 of the expected ships are to arrive the ports between September 11 and September 15, while seven are waiting to discharge bulk wheat, general cargo and rice.

It also reported that 19 ships were waiting to discharge petroleum products.

A breakdown showed that 12 of the ships will discharge petrol; four will discharge kerosene, two to discharge diesel, while one will discharge bulk gas.
