The military has confirmed that the rescued 275 Women and Children from Boko Haram have been moved from an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Yola for proper medical attention and psycho Social Therapy.

The Director Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade disclosed this to PRNigeria on thursday evening.

Olukolade said that the reason for the move was to enable the affected persons undergo a psycho social rehabilitation programme arranged by the Office of the National Security Adviser.

He revealed that they are presently in a safe location considered more conducive for them to undergo the next phase of the programme

?They are expected to be better prepared to join their communities at the end of the programme,? he said.

The rehabilitation programme is part of the initiatives of the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki under the Soft-Approach to counter-terrorism.
