The Black Princesses, Ghana national under 20 female team would face their Algerian counterparts in the first leg of the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup qualifiers on Friday, September 15, at the Omar Hamadi Stadium in Algiers.

Ghana’s delegation, which is made up 18 players and members of the technical and management teams, arrived in Algeria on Wednesday evening.

Coach Yusuf Basigi and his team trained on Thursday at the USM Algiers stadium as they prepare for Friday’s game.

The Black Princesses will host Algeria in the return encounter in a fortnight. Winner of the two-leg fixture would progress to the 2019 FIFA World Cup to be staged in France.

The 18 players to face the Algerians are; Martha Annan Koffie, Agyemang Esther, Linda Amoako, Gladys Amfobea, Philicity Asuako, Blessing Agbomadzi Shine, Justice Tweneboaa and Grace Asantewaa,

The rest are, Sandra Owusu Ansah, Princella Adubea, Helena Obeng, Rafia Kulchire Alhassan, Adizatu Kubrah Mustapha, Rahma Alhassan, Bridgit Adu, Olivia Anokye, Grace Acheampong and Ruth Amina.
