171 youths trained in various skill and entrepreneurs

About 171 youth living within the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis have undergone life skills, financial literacy and entrepreneurship training to enable them to living a meaning life to contribute positively to societal advancement .

The training pogramme under the YIEDIE initiative and financed by MasterCard is being implemented in Ghana by the Global Communities, a local NGO, the three programmes were however conducted by the Eff-Ess group of companies.

Dr Sarah Van-Ess, lauded the commitment and perseverance of the graudands through out the course duration and later encouraged them to put their knowledge acquired into good use, work in their individual visions, develop and follow good mentors in building a good career for the future.

Dr. Van-Ess told them that it was possible for them to achieve their dreams with right values such as trust, integrity and honesty.

Mr. Vincent Annan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Sekondi/Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the chamber was willing to assist two promising start ups to register with the chamber as well as process their business registration documents at the Register General’s Department.

The 171 graduands were presented with certificate of completion.
